These policies apply to all rentals of the Rec Room & Event Centre and form part of your rental agreement. They reflect our operating rules and the Saskatchewan regulations we operate under — including liquor licensing through the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) and provincial food-safety requirements. Your events coordinator will review each policy with you before your event.

Cancellation Policy

A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking and hold your date. If you need to cancel, the following applies based on the notice we receive in writing before your event date:

Date changes are subject to availability. One reschedule is permitted at no charge with 60 or more days' notice; the deposit transfers to the new date. Cancellations by the venue due to circumstances beyond our control (for example, loss of utilities or unsafe conditions) are refunded in full or rebooked at your choice. Specific amounts are confirmed in your rental agreement.

Alcohol Policy

All alcohol service takes place under our liquor permit issued by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) and is served only by our staff, who hold Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification. This keeps your event compliant with Saskatchewan liquor law.

Food & Catering Policy

All food is prepared and served by our licensed kitchen. Because our food-service licence makes us responsible for the safety of any food served in the building, we follow Saskatchewan food-safety requirements and cannot allow food we have not prepared and handled.
